Remastered in 2016, ‘Station to Station’ introduces us to The Thin White Duke on Bowie’s classic 10th studio album.
What’s the hook?
Originally released in January 1976, ‘Station to Station’ was a transitional record for Bowie, developing further on the funk and soul of it’s predecessor ‘Young Americans’ in addition to taking inspiration from German bands such as Kraftwerk.
A top 5 album on both sides of the Atlantic, ‘Station to Station’ has proved to be one of Bowie’s many masterpieces, with classic singles ‘Golden Years’ ‘Stay’ and ‘TVC 15’.
Featuring the 2016 remastered audio, the album is included in Rolling Stones 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.
